The Community Outreach committee focus is three-part
(1) We attempt to educate members and others about the
value and need for retirement planning and to provide valuable financial information regarding checking, credit, giving wisely, identity theft and social security;
(2) We introduce members and others in the community to
organizations that improve the lives of those in need;
(3) We educate members and others about the most
prevalent medical problems affecting women today, and encourage women to adopt proven methods of optimizing their own physical health and quality of life.
In the years 2012-2014 we supported
"Operation Christmas Child." These are simple "Shoe Box" gifts given to children who live in countries with crushing poverty, no electricity, running water or sanitation. We have the
opportunity to touch the lives of children in a fun and inspiring way by simply filling a shoe box with toys, crayons, paper, toiletries and candy.
